The best dog park I've ever experienced, I'm sure my dog would agree

Fiesta Island is a great place to check out if you're visiting San Diego with your dog, or if you're local and somehow have never been. Follow the signage to the backside of the island where you'll find an enclosed dog park, which leads down to a stretch of sand where your dogs can run and splash in the water... More

Fiesta Island is one of San Diego's last undeveloped bay land mass. It's pretty much dirt and sand island good for running your dog or going to the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club's Over the Line Tournament in August. Then it's pretty exciting with lots of young women wear not much and men drinking a lot of beer and rum... More

What a great resource for San Diego dog owners! Gorgeous off leash park where you can walk and romp with the dogs for miles along the water. Met some very nice people and fun dogs. Can't wait to visit next year.

This is the most dog friendly place you will find in San Diego. There is ample parking in the sand by the fenced off section of the beach. Once you enter through the fenced area, the remainder of the beach is fenced off from traffic, so you don't have to worry about your dog running off. The fenced area is... More

Fiesta Island is located within Mission Bay Park. Dogs are allowed in all areas except for the Youth Campground. There is calm water and dunes to run around and play in. A great place for your 4 legged, furry friends. During July the annual Over the Line tournament is held on Fiesta Island and is very crowded.

It's pretty much dog heaven if your dogs like to play in the water. There's parking along the road just above the beach or you can drive down closer. (Watch out for the occasional jerks in trucks speeding down the beach.) If you go on a weekday morning you have tons of options for where to set up on the... More

Come to the beach, find a fire ring, enjoy the sunset. Wait until 9:50 and watch the Sea World fireworks every night. Bring your bike and ride around the island.

I lived in San Diego many years ago and always took my dogs to Fiesta Island for a swim.I now live in Arizona and make the trip back to San Diego often. I go to dog beach most of the time but it can be crowded and hard to find parking. Fiesta Island is easy to find parking easy access... More

This is a fantastic place to bring your dog, there are usually very little people here, and you can let them off leash! My dog doesn't like waves all that much, so the calm waters at fiesta island allow her to swim to her little heart's desire! This is also a fantastic place to paddle board and swim, even thought... You can park everywhere on the beach. No big waves, perfect conditions for child's and sport like swimming or SUP .... AT the evening you have a lot of small fireplaces (bring your own wood with you), looks beautiful! Good Place and not overcrowded
