Seats for nine were split but we managed. Good visibility and a mixture of Padres and Giants fans blended well. Weather was perfect. Scoreboard easy to see. Limited food choices. Hard to find a cookie... finally found one place in farthest location from third base...More

As far as baseball stadium goes, this one is a winner. I highly suggest to see a game here - just buy the cheapest ticket. Nice, relaxing Californian afternoon w beer and hotdog - but offers lot of gourmet choices and clean environment compared to...More

The stadium has great beers and is very beautiful. Sad the padres are not the best. Not to mention my girlfriend works for them and she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

My first baseball game and I was not disappointed. While I have nothing to compare to, my impression is that the actual game is only a small part of the days proceedings. So, all that jazz was done very well on the day. Easy entry...More

Took my bride to a San Diego Padres game at Petco park. Good seats behind the third base line. The park was neat and well planned. Access was orderly (although be prepared for screening and metal detectors) and fast. Lots of fast food outlets. Do...More

My husband and I vacationed in San Diego and we are baseball fans in general. We decided to catch a Padres game against the Giants. It was so fun to just see another teams stadium as well as the atmosphere. Our seats were great for...More

Petco Park is a great place to watch a game. There's lots of great craft beer (of course) but you also get a really nice view of downtown from the stadium.

Was recommended by at check in to go see a baseball game at Petco Park. Wasn't sure what to expect but had a great time. Night game added to the atmosphere. Even my not so into sports wife enjoyed it.

First time to Petco, but what a great ballpark! Padres fans should be proud. Great seats in the Toyota Terrace! Food available is way above standard ballpark fare. Walking distance from my hotel (Hyatt). Very memorable experience. Oh, yeah, and the Padres won!

I have been to 7 or 8 ballparks in in the MLB. This one has the best location. Situate in down town San Diego. You are right next to a bunch of nice hotels. So, come in to town, get a room in one of...More

We have done this option before from the same hotel and I would say walking to the game in the early evening is OK but after the game I would walk out to the Gaslamp area and get a cab. The walk to the park is all downhill... More

The season may be over but they still offer tours of the ballpark twice a day. Once at 10:30 and again in the afternoon. I believe it's $15 per person.
