This navy vessel, now a museum is a 4+ hours of watching many fihter planes, a free informational short film and learning about navy and various mission this ship had during its active duty.Carrying outside food is allowed. Finding parking is time consuming.

Had a great visit to the Medway with a group of work colleagues. Not expensive and a nice way to get some fresh air in between conference sessions.

We came here in the afternoon on a very rainy day thinking that it would be our best indoor activity option (we didn’t factor in the flight deck). We might not have bothered had it not been raining. I'm glad we did bother though! The ship is massive and we really didn't have enough time to see/do everything on-board. The... More

An absolute must if you have any spare time. The midway aircraft carrier is an amazing museum. The self guide tour is great and there are numerous very knowledgable volunteers to answer any questions. Standing on the flight deck to see all this war planes I something to behold. Visit the tower and the bridge . The view onto the... More

The USS Midway, sits right on the San Diego Bay near the Waterfront park. It's a great must see for any tourist visiting San Diego, where you can get acquainted with San Diego's rich military history. It's touristy, but it's still a pretty awesome visit.
