We went to Playa Linda Beach. Beautiful beach. Small entrance fee, which was completely worth it. We went in the evening about an hour before the sunset. Enjoyed watching the waves come crashing in and the birds diving in the water catching fish. Could have spent hours there just relaxing. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend. We also... More

Relaxing at the beach on Thanksgiving. The beach was uncrowded and very peaceful. It is a short drive to the park and well worth the trip for a nominal charge ($5.00) to park.

We like this beach because it's quiet and clean. It's a national seashore so you have to pay to get in, which helps keep the amount of people down. It is well worth the money though. On the day we went there wasn't many people and the weather was perfect! Before getting to the parking lot there is a long... More

We kayaked to Shipyard Island and stayed 3 nights. It was beautiful. Fishing was superb. I caught lots of speckle trout ranging 10" to 29" on topwater lures. We kayaked using the map and GPS around the other islands and explored new territory. We camped at this spot a few years ago and did not explore then like we did... More

Love this place, it is so beautiful and peaceful, not spoiled by crowds, buildings, vehicles, etc. A very nice place to relax, play in the surf and enjoy nature.

Enjoyed our time here. So nice to see an unspoiled beach with no commercial businesses or high rise condos! Quite and peaceful. Two lane highway on the drive out to the seashore. There is a $5.00 per car charge. Be sure and stop by the Merritt Island visitors center. Nice trail here to walk through and learn more about the... More

Took our friend from Pa. here yesterday. Little windy and cool but, the view of the beach and water he enjoyed very much. A little dirty then usual.

Beautiful trails of fauna and foliage. Nice boardwalks leading to the vast expanse of a relaxing beach.

One of the last true large unspoiled beaches in the area. No cars driving on the beach, no annoying vendors trying to sell you things, no crowds. Natural, relaxing, and nice!

We enjoyed our visit to Canaveral National Seashore. It's a small park and still recovering from the effects from Hurricane Matthew. The adjacent wildlife refuge now has resident Manatees.
