This Daniel Burnham design got its moniker because, as you might guess, it resembles an iron.

The Flatiron building is located at the intersection of Broadway with 5th avenue and it's a special shape which makes it a unique and special building. Upon completion It was one of the tallest buildings in New York.

This is a wedge shape 21 storey building built in 1902 that has a steel framed support that our modern skyscrapers use today. It almost looks like it is bigger at the top and is in danger of falling over, well that's the impression I...More

I loved seeing the Flatiron Building in real life, it is one of the most beautiful buildings in NYC. We spent some time in the adjacent Madison Square Park where we had a great view of the Flatiron.

Another striking NYC attraction which is easy to visit and has plenty of nearby space to admire the building. We took a few photos and went for a wander in the nearby Lego store too (very cool!).

Would definitely recommend going here, spend some time in the park next to it and bring a camera. The most iconic photos of this building normally are taken with the antique clock in front of it.
