Cass Gilbert designed this Neo-Gothic building and was completed in 1913 and was the tallest in the world for 20 years. This building was used in a ghostbusters scene. Great veiws from the River.

The building is beautiful with a fascinating history. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, having co-wrote a book on the architect.

Very much enjoyed the views all around and the architectural design of the building. I liked the gargols Statues all over it. It has somewhat of a gothic feel about it.

We booked through the only authorised booking company after searching Woolworth Building on the internet and took the 60 minute tour, it is the first one that comes up on Google. Our guide was Bob Gelder who was fantastic... More

Yes, there are tons of places to eat within a block or two - you're never far from anything in Manhattan and everything is always open, for the most part.

Alas, the lobby has been closed to the public since 9/11. There is even a sign posted outside the door reading "No Tourists Beyond This Point," a rule aggressively enforced by foul-mouthed security guards. (In happier times... More
