A tour guide will explain the art & architecture & history of these buildings. It's well worth 1 hour of your time when you're in NYC. You can then queue for the top of the rock observatory experience too

We had to go by Rockefeller center to see the Christmas tree and other decorations. Very pretty and very big. Interesting watching people ice-skating in the snow. Big crowd but able to walk around.

The Rockefeller Center Plaza is all lit up with Christmas lights and the giant tree. Come early in the day it won't be as crowded.

Snow made for a beautiful visit to see the tree and ice skating rink. The cathedral close by was a wonderful finishing touch.

Best not to drive in NYC. Take LIRR ftom airport if flying into JFK. Then use subway, uber or walk. Parking us hard to fjnd znd extremely expensive.
