The Met needs no introduction and no plaudits. It’s excellence is stunningly obvious. The only drawback: its popularity and thus its crowds. This is a problem primarily with the special exhibitions. It is a Must visit. And often.

You will need a few days if you really want to see it all. It's huge and loaded with significant works of fine art, decorative arts, architecturals elements and historic interiors. The Met is constantly producing amazing special exhibitions.
