    Beautiful park
The park is huge so we didnt get round it all. It was a sweltering hot day. It was packed with jogers, cyclists, people playing tennis, people playing baseball, rock climbers, kids & house drawn carriages. We had a little walk round & stopped for a rest & a drink. Well worth a vist. Very pretty surrounded by high rise buildings.

    Such a beautiful place
A wonderful place to get away from all the craziness of NYC. The trails are so nice, and it’s big enough that you don’t feel crowded there. And it seems that there are so many nooks and crannies, you could spend days enjoying the different areas of the park. We walked it on our way to the Natural History Museum and back. It was a decent amount of walking from our hotel in the Times Square area, but it only took us a little over half an hour and an overall easy walk there. I can totally see the appeal of visiting this park, even for us tourists. My wife and I are not excited about the horse carriages though - those horses have to pull people in the hot sun, and I don’t think they really enjoy it.

    Broadway in June 2023
Went for a few days to catch some Broadway shows. Stayed at the Marriot Marquis in the middle of Times Square. Great place. Can walk to any show. Had tickets to Sweeney Todd. Picked up tickets at the TKTS booth for Moulin Rouge and Some Like it Hot. Great shows for a good price. Ate at Junior's, John's Pizza, Playwright Irish Pub, and Ellen's Stardust Diner. No shortage of places to get good food. Took a side trip to Coney Island on the Q train. Took Amtrak from Vermont to Penn Station. Good way to travel.

Every Visit Makes Me Fall in Love All Over Again...
I spent a delightful early Sunday morning enjoying the park as I made my way towards The Met. It was a sunny June day, not too hot, and the atmosphere could not have been more magical. Every time I visit the park, I realize just how much I enjoy exploring its verdant depths. There's absolutely much more to see, and I know I will be back.

    We loved Central Park!
Loved Central Park! It is beautiful, calming, eclectic and interesting! The zoo is great but my favorite part was walking the Mall. Musicians and artists are everywhere and dogs are lounging, squirrels are adorable and fruit stands are around for a quick, refreshing treat.

    Fabulous Day Out 💕
Second time to visit Central Park, but this time, we spend all day wandering around the pathways. My hubby and son rented bikes, but there are bikes to rent by the park itself. As you cycle around the outer roads and have to dismount to head into the boat house, fountain, etc. Plenty to see, and young and old enjoying the sunshine. Plenty of photo opportunities. When buying fresh fruit or water there don't show your money, as my son went to buy the fresh fruit and had 6 dollars in his hand and with out us knowing was charged the 6 dollars. So ask first, how much..1 dollar for water, no more.

    Massive!
I was pleasantly surprised by how big central park is! It was surprisingly hard to find coffee spots once inside the park. Regardless, I really loved it. I went during Autumn which was gorgeous, and I particularly liked seeing saxophonists playing underneath the bridges, and the contrast between the park with the skyscrapers behind. Definitely worth a visit.

    Beautiful Green Space
A welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. An awesome way to spend the day or a few hours. Very clean and well maintained green space in the heart of the city. I travel to Manhattan often, but had never taken the time to go until this trip. I truly enjoyed it and will be now be a part of every future visit to New York.

    A definite must visit.
Only got to see the south portion and wish I had more time to explore. Would have like to have seen a security presence and better signage, including zoo info including costs before arriving at zoo itself. Do not recommend a CitiBike for this activity, many issues including poorly maintained cycles(flat tires and broken sensors) take a walk and enjoy.

    Central Park - Amazing
Was on vacation from July 2nd…… Central Park is great for a healthy walk and smell some fresh air. Went for a long walk around Central Park and as well as play area for children, Central Park caters for all. We never felt threatened and felt very welcomed and would recommend spending sometime walking the length and breadth - we was not disappointed. Great location as well getting away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. If attending New York again this would be on our list to visit. 10 out of 10 from me 👍

Lots of fun and endless exploration. My favorite part was the busking and little shops like Characatures throughout the park.

We had a great time at Central Park yesterday. We hot off the subway around 52 Street and wandered into the park. It was great to see native New Yorkers relaxing in their natural environment. My kids liked to climb rocks and pet dogs with owners permission. We could have rented a rowboat for $25 per hour I think . We fed soft pretzel crumbs to the turtles at a lake and walked around the lake. This was not the Onassis reservoir, but a smaller lake.
We rode back to port authority from the 72 street station by the Dakota where John Lennon lived.

The most amazing Park that we have ever visited. What an experience, from the immaculate gardens and landscape to the impressive cleanliness and facilities available to either walk, run or cycle. The most spectacular sites to see in the park with the most amazing views and photo opportunities.

We spent time in Central Park every day during our four days and only saw a little bit.
There are lots of food trucks lining it to grab food for a picnic.
The conservatory gardens are really north but lovely.
The reservoir is a great place for a run with locals.
We enjoyed breakfast at the Le Pain Quotidien by sheep’s meadow.
Every bridge, every small body of water, every tree lined area and every meadow was lovely.
We walked across it after dark and stayed to well lit paths and didn’t feel unsafe and got to see fireflies!
So many cute dogs going for walks.
We also saw several rats.

Central Park is just a lovely place to take a break from the city. We pretty much only walked through it to get to other parts of the city, and we stopped on benches along the way. I was glad there were people selling water and beverages - we needed that in the heat.

My wife and I visited NYC with our daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons this past summer. One morning we visited Central Park and took a leisurely stroll around the lake and went to Belvedere Castle. It was a relaxing day in the midst of the frenzy of New York.

Amid the bustle of the city, Central Park offers everyone the opportunity to just slow down and bask in the sun. Lots of lawn to picnic, track for cycling and lots of paths for meandering around and just think. The imported beer at the Little cafe off of the baseball fields was perfectly chilled too!!

I especially enjoyed the tranquility of the Sanctuary and sat on the beautiful benches every few minutes.

What a beautiful park, you can have a picnic or a nice stroll around the park and enjoy some food and drinks at one of the nice cafes.
Just be careful of the bikes which try to take you around the park Some of them are not licensed and insured and will try and rob you.
If you want to be taken around the park on one of the bikes and given a tour, make sure that they have an ID tag and you can always get the price down if you haggle.
The Zoo is not the biggest but it’s in a city.
Overall it’s a great place to visit.

This is a great place to escape the city and crowds. We had visited the Natural History museum and then spent an hour having a picnic and walking to the South East corner to hire a bike to explore the park. Although we covered more ground, I think it's easier to explore the park on foot, as it was so busy. It was a Monday afternoon in May.

My husband, daughter (15) and I wandered around Central Park the first day we got into NYC. It was a Saturday late afternoon. It was fun to see the many people utilizing the park, yet it wasn’t overwhelmingly packed. We checked out a few specific areas made famous by movies. Definitely didn’t explore as much as we wanted. I think it would take days upon days to see all Central Park has to offer.
