One block from Central Park. Close enough to Times Square, but far from the noisy part. 1/2 block from subway entrance and across the street from Carnegie Hall. Very close to everything.

Hot and humid. Bring shorts, light rain jacket, sun glasses, sun screen, comfortable shoes. Light jacket/cotton sweater in case temp drops at night.
