    Connect with nature
Central park has great lakes teeming with terrapins (turtles) and fish, wild birds, trees, rocks and even history. Plenty of benches to rest your feet. Only, take a packed lunch as there are precious few places around to buy food.

    Well worth a visit
Really large park in the centre of the city. Loads of places to sit and plenty of walkways. There are several things to see in the park including Belvedere Castle, Shakespeare Garden, Turtle Pond and Bethesda Terrace to name a few. There is also a zoo in the park and a couple of ponds. Well worth a visit to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

    A MUST SEE NYC TREASURE
We have been to Central Park many times and each time saw different parts of it. This time we entered across from the Plaza Hotel and walked past the Zoo entrance. You are able to see the sea lions exhibit and feeding and show from the walkway. There are many park benches to stop and rest and just people watch.

    Loved it
The weather was perfect for a wander round Central Park on more than one occasion in May. It is so big and I don’t think we saw the same place twice. There is music - from Beatles songs in Strawberry Fields to string trios at the other side. It does get busy which is part of its charm - all the world is there during the day. Then you suddenly come upon an obelisk and then the Alice In Wonderland statue. Watch out for cyclists and runners on the m as in routes.

    TRUE JOY
Central Park is an extremely large green space in New York. It has over around 20 playgrounds, several man made lakes and ponds, arched bridges, and extensive paths for walking, running and biking. Truly the first thing you notice about Central Park is that it is vast. Apparently an estimated 42 million visitors enter the park every year, making it one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world. My wife and I visited on the afternoon while in the area and now can understand the attraction. Really it was fantastic. The Harlem Meer was wonderful with the turtles swimming here and there, Belvedere Tower was extremely interesting, and the John Lennon tribute Strawberry Fields was touching. These were just three of many highlights of an amazing park. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit and after 4 hours of consistent walking had still only seen a small portion of this inner city wonder. New Yorkers you're so fortunate to have this joy of a park.

    Great open space
Spent a lot of time in Central Park. Plenty of space and never felt crowded. Walked as far as the reservoir. Would like more places/kiosks to get something to eat or drink rather than those on the edge.

    Worth a wander
A busy place (which place in this city is not?), but with resting points that does make it worth wandering in. One can explore it best in two halves, I would advise, especially if you're already footsore from tramping through the surrounding attractions.

    Beautiful
We entered the park just beneath the big lake in the middle. We saw most of the main sights as we criss crossed back towards 5th avenue. I thought they could have done with more maps in the park. Otherwise, we loved it! It does get a lot busier nearer 5th avenue and we got pestered more for horse carriage rides etc.

    Very Pretty
Loved the park! We only saw a tiny bit of it near Strawberry Fields and the zoo. It is very well-kept. We felt safe. It was busy but not crowded. I'm taking points off for not having bathrooms available, at least not easily. We were near the zoo, but it was closed unexpectedly, and we were directed like three blocks down to use the bathroom at the Apple Store or The Plaza.

    Central Park
Beautiful park with lots of activities annd memorable statues; all the things you would imagine to see there. As out of state visitors it would’ve been helpful to have more signage for direction. It’s frustrating to feel like you’re always lost.

Every time I wander through Central Park, it's like everything old is new again. This trip was no exception, whether early morning or at twilight, this green and pleasant spot holds a magic like nothing else can.

The park grounds are relatively well-kept. There are a lot of trails for pedestrians and cyclists. Watch out for the muddy sections on rainy days. Take along a water bottle to keep hydrated.

The oark is lovely as usual. We went on a sunny warm day, the park was packed with people and pets, and we loved the visit, though I think some parts of the grass weren’t well maintained as you could see the ground

We loved exploring Central Park's expansive lawns and winding walking trails. It's a peaceful oasis in the middle of bustling Manhattan, perfect for a romantic stroll or picnic. A must-visit for nature lovers in the city.

Central Park is a charming escape in the heart of New York. It is the perfect place to get away from the chaos of the city and breathe in the tranquility of nature. Ideal for wandering alone, walking past ponds, exploring statues or simply relaxing among the greenery. Huge variety of attractions in this 800+ acre park in the middle of New York City!
Huge trees and flowering plants, paths throughout the park in forested areas, and beside bike paths, horse carriage winding streets, fountains, statues, and a lake and reservoir. Includes a carousel area, a boat house renting rowboats, a couple restaurants, and a castle in the middle.

Amazing flora and views...the oark is enormous. Some if the hills, on a bike were a bit of a challenge.
So worth a visit. There were a few groups making, pleasant, music, which broke up our ride.

So much to discover and do in this beautiful park.

I liked the Delacorte clock (close to the zoo), chimes&animated figures at certain times, the sculpture of the dog Balto is "telling a story" of a 4 paws hero....

Park is wellkept, clean .... maybe some "horse apples" 🤗

Places for a pit stop: "au pain quotidien", "Tavern on the Green".....

Excellent park centrally located in New York. Lots of trails, scenic views and areas to explore. Connects to other areas well with public transit options available. A fair amount of street vendors present in area. Due to size and price of goods in park also recommend packing proper food/water.
