Walking around the meatpacking district was somewhat chaotic with so many trucks loading and unloading at every corner. That being said, the High Line sirs right above it and makes it all worthwhile.

This part of New York has lots of pubs, clubs and bars, so it's nice and lively. You can also discover it in a different way by walking the High Line, which goes through it.

Great neighborhood with lot pubs and clubs to hangout with friends. This place is crazy on Saturday night. There are long queues outsides clubs like brass monkey, Standard bar etc. so have prior reservation on Saturdays.

Whether you're a visitor or a local, Meatpacking is a cool, hip place to grab a bite or just hang out on the cobblestone streets and people watch.

This is a revitalised area of New York City. Well worth making a visit to this sector. When you are there, don't miss the Above ground linear park created from an oil railway line

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

Use mass transit. It can be awful to walk in the hot summer all those city blocks. You can rent a bicycle.
