Great! So much fun

We had been to New York many times and didn't know about this tour. We had so much fun and got educated on types of pizza, ovens, styles and more. This is good for any age.

Scott is absolutely the perfect person to do a walking pizza tour of New York City with! Not only is he knowledgeable and a total pizza-nerd (in the best way possible), but he is extremely enthusiastic and happy to guide you on your path of pizza discovery. We did the Crosstown Pizza Walk which began at Lombardi's on Spring Street,... More

We really enjoyed this event and Mike was a terrific guide. Definitely worthwhile if you like pizza as we had 3 excellent slices -- all very different from one another. The walking part was easy and we got to sit down at 2 of the places. Seeing the pizza oven up close and hearing the explanation of the types of... More

Mike was a fantastic guide - funny, entertaining and a wealth of knowledge of all things pizza! The food was amazing and the walk through different neighborhoods was at an easy pace - my 14 year loved it!

Mike was our tour guide, stand up comic and good speaker. Held my 11 year old and 15 year old's attention for 3 hours ( including eating at 3 pizza places). Booked the original tour for something unique for my family, and a way to see some of Little Italy. A walking tour where one of the stops was to... More

Great evening, organised as a corporate event while in NYC and was a lot of fun. Scott has a wealth of knowledge regarding everything to do with pizza, especially in NYC and has a huge amount of energy. Loved that he tailored his choices to that of the group and gave us a bit of history about the pizza styles... More

Superb value for money. Good fun and great pizza. Miriam was our host and she was fantastic. Great knowledge and a good laugh. I honestly didn't realise there was so much to know about pizza. If you love pizza, you'll love this tour.

I went on Scott's Pizza tour of Greenwich Village for a culinary tourism class this past Saturday. We were lucky enough to have Scott as our tour guide for the day which made the whole experience even better. The first thing that I noticed about Scott was that he had a ton of energy and despite it being cold, was... More

This was my second tour with Scott on his Yellow school bus and it was just as amazing as the first. I think this is a must activity for me each time I visit NYC. It was sad when it ended because time goes by quickly when you are having fun. Scott provided lots of interesting facts and useful information... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
