This is one of the oldest historical building in New York. The architecture is very nice. Saw the building on the way to Brooklyn Bridge. Took some nice pictures of the exterior.

This landmark building is now home to the New York City Department of Education. I do not know if tours are available, but the DOE does host public meetings on a regular basis which is how I got to visit.

Infamous Courthouse here in lower Manhattan. For architecture buffs and lovers of law, I would visit here along with all the other Courts on Centre Street. For travelers, I would bypass this attraction.

This is not a public space with considerable security to enter. It housed the NYC Department (BOARD of Education. The renovations done to this building are something to behold.

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
