This is a beautiful cathedral. We loved to walk around and take pics. I would suggest if anyone is here to go see it. Beautiful details and stain glass windows.

St. Patrick's Cathedral is certainly worthy of a visit. Many say it's among America's best churches. Free admission! You can light a candle for any special remembrance.

Breathtaking moments of silence and awe as you walk down the aisle of this famous church that houses the Archbishop of NYC. I took so many pictures of the stunning architecture, opulence of the church, and yet the still quiet voice of God could be heard. A must see!

We stop here every time we're in New York. It looks beautiful after the cleaning of the stonework and woodwork inside and out. Security is tighter than it used to be but that's to be expected nowadays. As usual, we lite some candles in honor of our friends and family, there is no change machine so we always add a... More

It is beautiful church with a history and because is in very central location it is worth getting in and have some quiet time wondering around or sitting quietly on one of the benches.

It is a must stop and pray visit in NYC. Such great beauty and peace in the midst of NYC chaos and extreme energy. Make sure you see the Basilica in Philadelphia to see an even more beautiful church

Beautiful and would really like to attend Mass there, but seemed quite commercial upon entry and took away from the sanctity for me.

I can't believe that this piece of architecture is hidden in NYC. Def worth a look. There is security there that check your bags, but you can take your bags in and sit a while looking at the beauty.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
