We walked through Battery Park on our way to and from our ferry tour of the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island. Given that this is prime real estate (but on fill), it is nice to see it preserved as a green. We stopped on the way...More

Wonderful place to spend a sunny spring day-- watching marine traffic on the waterfront and the people who pass by. Plenty of seating with benches everywhere. Park was clean and safe with visitors from all walks of life enjoying a beautiful setting and weather.

Battery Park is a beautiful place close to South Ferry Station and Wall Street. It’s a beautiful park and has a plus, you can take Staten Island Ferry or Statue of Liberty + Ellis Island Ferry easily from there. Enjoy your visit, you wont regret!.

There should be several parking garages near the World Trade Center that you can Google. The Staten Island Ferry terminal should be within reasonable walking distance.
