It may vary by theater and production. It would be best to call the box office of the theater you would be going to and ask what their policy is for that specific show.

If you want to save some money I would go directly to Broadway half price tickets are offered there so you can book online and pay full price or try your luck go and pick him up there or even go to the box office sometimes... More
