There is so much to see and do down in the Village. You must go walk through Washington Square park. It is even gorgeous at night. Wander around the village and pay attention to all the homes as there are many original buildings still there....More

A trip to Greenwich Village is a must see! The history of the area and how it has changed is historic and interesting. The restaurants and historic buildings are worth experiencing.

Greenwich Village is the best. Having gone to NYU, I always spent time in Washington Square Park. Always fun to people watch, shop or eat. Great area to stroll. Lovely town houses too.

Best part of NYC to stay in, so close to some great off beat shopping, bars and side stalls. Will stay again here when I come back in March 2018.

This part of New York is a must-see when visiting this fantastic city. It's a very affluent part, but also has a lot of different cultural influences. Don't miss Washington Square park.

Lots of restaurants, bars, shops... and even just to stroll along the streets seeing the houses was a good activity. A place to gp back many times.

Go see this built under the Washington Square Arch... take a selfie and hope that there is also an acrobatic team of twins in the center of the park... they are very funny and extremely talented...

Such a great area to walk around in. So much to see, so many great places to eat (cafes, restaurants), great pubs and bars (Peculiar Pub, Jekyll and Hyde), cool shops, amazing parks (Washington Square: one of the best places to be in the city)....More

Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
