This is a nice bar located in the hotel I was staying in and at night they placed the best new hip hop songs. The drinks were not weak either so It was a nice enjoyable experience. The people visiting there all seemed to enjoy themselves and it seemed pretty much like the local hotel crowd is who was staying... More

The wonderful third floor bar in the Park Hyatt is a beautiful escape from crowded streets. It is comfortable and spacious with a beautiful decor: a great place to gather for business or for social schmoozing (and people-watching). My wife and I had two truly delicious and imaginative hand-crafted cocktails. From the bar menu, unfortunately, she had few gluten-free choices.... More

After reading positive internet notes about it and as you have to use the W Hotel entrance on 47th Street I decided to check this bar out at 2 pm in case I wanted to get there at night. Exiting the 7th Floor elevator it is to the right of the hotel foyer with adequate rows of settee's and tables... More

Visited with my friends from California. Atmosphere was really good and the staffs were friendly. A little bit disappointed with the restroom but the bartender made it up with excellent drinks and conversation (I think his name was Wasi). Overall, it's a good experience and we had a great time there.

We were a group of six expecting a classy bar in the W Hotel. It wasn't. Two in the group ordered a glass of champagne which had to be sent back since it was off tasting. The replacement drinks were much better. All in all, there are better places to get a drink.

This was out first visit back since about a year or so ago. We have previously stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the bar. Unfortunately this visit was one that made us reconsider the visit. Tying to order drinks was a bit of challenge as the servers had a bit of an attitude. I actually do not have too much... More

We walked into The W based on reviews on this website to enjoy the recommended bar. Unfortunately, the bartender decided upon seeing us that she was too busy to actually speak to us. When a guest asks for a recommendation of the bourbons available, especially when there are new ones that a bourbon lover has not had before, don't hand... More

Performance by The Renaldo The Ensemble was great. Overall atmosphere was very informal - kind of typical of NYC bar in the Lower East Side

Great spot to see acoustic music! Most performances are free. It's a cute little spot in SoHo/Lower East Side. The drink prices were lower than usual around the city, which was nice!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
