Would have enjoy this attraction so much more if it hadn't been so mobbed by people. I wouldn't have even minded if people were mature enough adults to take turns at the statue so you could get a decent photo with the Bull. The entire time we were there we had to fight to get next to the statue and... More

OK so this is one of those touristy things but honestly it is very overrated. Go early or late if you want a photo or be prepared to wait a very long time. Worth waiting for a picture to say you have been but nothing exciting.

The sculpture of bull is the work of Arturo di Modica installed not so long ago - in 1987. Despite the 30 year anniversary, officially she is here on a temporary permit. But it does not bother tourists, who are in the queue to touch either the horn or the eggs of a bull. Judging by how polished these parts... More

A friend from Virginia is visiting. Her first time in NY. She wanted to see the charging bull after someone mentioned it to her. She enjoyed seeing it. If your in the area it's cute to take a picture with the bull.

The bull statue is an iconic attraction for tourists so if you need a picture by itself you need to get there very early or be REALLY lucky.

I get why people want to see it... it is a bit of an icon... but line up to take selfies with it? That I do not get.

Managed to get a photo in July 2009. However, be prepared for all the other tourists trying to get one too. Large bull on a meridian in the street.

There is a really long line here to get your photo taken with the charging bull. It is probably at least a 20 minute wait. If you just want a photo of the bull on its own, you can easily snap one between people having their photos taken.

but an interesting back story. On the evening of December 15, the bull was loaded on a truck with a crane and driven to the NYSE by the Artist, Arturo Di Modica and a few friends. The bull arrived unnoticed and unannounced under the NYSE Christmas tree. By morning it was the BIG story all over the media. It was... More
