They make gluten free muffins, desserts, organic and paleo foods as the main food served. I am highly gluten intolerant (all my life, this did not start with the latest diet fads). Eating here makes me feel good, and I don't have the bloating "aftermath" from dining here. The food is healthy, and tastes good. I have referred at least... More

This year it was our second year in the row for skating at the Rockefeller Center. It was so much fun! Great family fun in the middle of a busy city. We skated in March-the day was beautiful: warm and sunny but the ice seemed not much affected by the temperature outside. The conditions were great for skates.

My husband and I and his German-speaking cousin who was visiting us recently, joined Karin Bratone for five hours of site-seeing in the downtown area of NYC. Karin speaks fluent German and English, and was very personable and energetic--she kept the tour moving at nice pace, allowing time for photo shoots, and all the while sharing her knowledge about the... This past weekend I took a tour of my home town. They say there is nothing as provincial as a native New Yorker. I am no exception. For me the world is a handful of zip codes in Manhattan. What an extraordinary surprise to be exposed to another world in my own city. Karin conducted a delightful tour of The... More

My German speaking cousins were visiting NYC for a few days. Having heard of Karin Bratone, I arranged a tour. As a native New Yorker, I was shocked how much I did not know about my great city. Karin has a great personality and has an incredible amount of knowledge about old NY, architecture and random FUN facts.

We chose Karin for her German speaking capabilities, but in reality, she didn't have to translate too much for us, as her explanations were easily understood in just English. Karin's knowledge of the city, from knowing how to get around in an efficient manner, to little hidden secrets which only locals know about, to the new and hip parks and... More
