I love to see this area as it's a NYC icon to me. Not a lot to see or do necessarily, but I am in awe of the arch and it's size.

You can enjoy this attraction while trolling in the Greenwich village. Nothing much to see, but good place for relaxing.

Impressive monument to an important politician. Other than that nothing special around. Nice to see many people - many dogs on weekends.

This is a MUST visit for anyone who is visiting NY. The view is spectacular, for best photos I would recommend the visit at the morning hours when the sun is enlightening the Island. I was lucky with the weather and walked all the way...More

Lovely square. Families can bring their children and many relaxing in this park and taking pictures. Don' miss it, if in NYC.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
