We went to Davids tea to buy some good tea. It is so full of varieties of tea and it became very difficult for us to choose. But we can always choose what we want and also taste before buying. We are given sample tea and also newly introduced tea.

beautiful products, lovely design and very good prices. I bought the pepermint tea (amazing) and a tea pot, and 4 cups. Loved all of it. A must sea store if you like design and teas.

I visited this store after going on one of Scott's Pizza Tours in Greenwich Village. I don't normally drink tea, much less loose leaf tea as I am a coffee drinker mainly, but I loved the layout and the variety of tea available. Having tasters was a really good idea, and I bought the Oh Canada gift set with 3... More

We visited the David's Tea on 6 th ave. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. There are so many varieties, it was hard to choose! I am a coffee drinker and I loved all the tea I sampled. I will definetly return!

Not only do they have a great selection of teas (variety and flavor) but the people who work there are so nice! All 3 locations in New York have a great team working the counter, knowledgable and friendly. I am in there a few times a month for myself and for gifts.

Wonderful place to go on a tea adventures.....with over 150 choices from black to green to herbal. Staff are helpful and willing to take the time to walk you through many choices, helping you to narrow it down or open you to new possibilities. They have a nice selection of tea mugs and brewing accessories. In fact they have the... More

I make the trek all the way from Jersey for this tea shop. Not to mention any names, but the local chain tea shop in my mall does it all wrong. Whereas some shops obnoxiously wave a lid in your face to allow you to smell the tea, Davids has a wonderful, hygienic, two layer container that allows the customer... More

I have tried couple tea from Davids Tea and the goji pop is my favorite. In addition to goji berries, there are also rose hips, apple, etc, which boost the sweetness of this very tea. It's sweet and refreshing!

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
