I went there on father s day. It was very hot. The zoo is very compact. The bears 🐻 was okay the 4d cinema was a great treat. To escape the heat. The price was ok the food in the cafe was adequate.

This Zoo is very reasonably priced but is very small and took us around 45 minutes to get around it all. The zoo is very clean and well signposted but overall as a zoo it's disappointing.

Found the zoo eventually, walking through the unsignposted central park, only to find it was closed that day for a fundraiser (which wasnt very clear on the web site). The childrens zoo was free to get in that day. We did go back the following...More

Visited the zoo after a horse and carriage ride around Central Park. The zoo was a lovely addition to the day. It is small and only spent about an hour or so there but none the less enjoyed it. Animals could be seen up close....More

You can go back and back. It's always something new and exciting. I love the great ape exhibit and when it gets to hot to go to the reptile are.

We like zoos - and this is good. But you can get around it comfortably in an hour. The tropical house is a treat. Good penguins and we even got to see the snow leopard. It's well presented, there's a cafe there. Cost is $12,...More

There are bikes everywhere in Central Park and I do recall there being some bars but not immediately outside more towards the children's zoo. Hope that helps?

You can buy them on the website but it's just as easy to get them on the day you want to go when you're there

We chose this because it is a small zoo. We wanted to feel that we saw everything (the much larger Bronx Zoo is at least a full day experience and you still feel you've missed something) You can zip through in an hour or two... More
