We walked by this shop en route to Radio City Music Hall. It's a fascinating shop with interesting displays. Make sure to ask to see the room behind the wall of patches! The firefighter on station did a fantastic job with the children that came...More

This place is mainly a souvenir shop for FDNY/EMT merchandise. Has some cool displays and a truck to sit in with some gear but otherwise nothing to see. The staff and clerks are quite helpful and I did find what I came for: an FDNY...More

This place is average and really just a shop, they sell on line and the one thing I wanted was out of stock. The few historical items were interesting and the learning centre would be good (but you need a group booking) the retired fire...More

Without a guide, this place was mainly a fire truck on which kids (and adults, if you wanted) could climb, and a gift shop. There were fire fighter paraphernalia and fire company badges on the wall, some pamphlets on safety, in stands, and some room...More

Absolutely loved it. They have the front section of a pump fire truck. They would have spent all day playing. It's very small and didn't get to see much more than the truck. I would like to go back in on my own to look...More

This small and rather inconspicuous FDNY store / museum / educational facility would be hard to simply walk past as you stroll down W 51st Street by the side of the Rockefeller complex. But for anyone interested in the Fire Service it is certainly worth...More

We have been there this morning and the girls loved it. Is not a museum is a small exposition of many interesting things (with a fantastic shop), we asked for a guide-trip-experience and for 6$ each we had an amazing time in a special space...More

We found this store by accident while touring in NYC, so didn't have any preconceived expectations as other reviewers did who were actually trying to find it. Agree that the space is small, (keeping in mind the cost of retail space in the city) with...More

This is a small place near Radio City, but packs plenty in. Just inside is a pump engine which kids can push water through. There is a fireman there to talk through fire safety and explain the pump etc. A lot of FDNY stuff on...More
