Neighbourhood: Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

As a Lego collector and Lego Instagrammer I was really looking forward to my visit to the Rome Lego store. I brought my IG minifigure to pose in the store and thought I'd pick up some travelling friends for her. I was really disappointed to find the minifigure bins very empty with few accessories available and virtually no options for legs other than "dresses" and "kid" legs. Really not good options in building some cruising friends.
I took several photos around the store, made a video of LegoGirl by your Trevi Fountain etc and one of the staff said hello, but the others really just seemed disinterested...which seemed odd. I mean here's this 49 year-old woman (who speaks some Italian) who showed up with her own minifigure...surely I'm someone who likes Lego and would be a customer, right?
We left without buying anything. It was just a letdown. It felt just, sad.

Great store with 2 floors
We were lucky as didn’t have to queue to get in
My 18 year old waited and then gave up to try and play a game of chess as the game before his was intense
Managed to find a lego Statue of Liberty magnet to gift my girlfriend which she loved
No queues at the checkout and staff friendly

One of the best lego stores ever! I loved all builds! So fun! Kids and adults alike can spend lots of time here! Also you can make your own minifigure!

🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵 5-star = can’t wait to return
If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! It’s my favorite store in NYC. The Marvel figures, Ghost Busters, Mario, and the New York scenery fill up all the spaces like I’m in Legoland. There’s all kinds of legos to buy and my favorite part was being able to make my own custom mini figure. You can use their drawings but I created my own unique drawing. Now I have the only Lego like it in the whole world. #sylviatourstein #everydaykidstravel

The Lego Store in Rockefeller Center is far and away the most amazing I've been to. So many brick built creations to see and spot on theming for it's location. Highlights include a brick built near life size taxi, a bench you can share with a brick built hulk, a brick built scene from Ghostbusters and so much more!

I think I genuinely could spend all day in this shop. We found it by pure accident while we had some spare time and decided to visit the following day, as there was a pretty hefty queue to get in. The next morning we arrived 10 minutes before opening and we were 6th in the queue to enter. Crazy busy. There's some fantastic builds in the store which are an ideal photo op for children, and adults (!). We customised our own figures and designed their torso, which involves you drawing it on a screen and them printing it onto a figure. What a great idea!!!!!!! We had a fantastic time doing that. Lots of NYC themed lego to take for souvenirs. A great place!

This is my second visit to a Lego store in the USA and living the way they are laid out. Big. Spacious. Colourful. Inviting.
This store was particularly good with plenty of displays including the Statue of Liberty with its own spin. Plus a great creation of New York at the rear of the store.
Staff are ever so helpful and store layout easy to navigate. The dragon makes for some fun hanging from the roof.
This is a must visit if nothing more than to watch the joy of kids and little plastic bricks.

Display area upon entrance is geared for crowds, waiting line to get in moves rather fast
The only novel attractions are to take a selfie with the hulk or in the taxi.
No real "Wow" factor .
Window displays are good but need to be cleaned. Can't see the purpose of having little ones play with unsanitized pieces.
Didn't buy anything, prefer online shopping.

Will this store ship things that you buy in-store to your home (we’re taking the train into the city and space is a concern)?

Hi, I'm looking for the Lego Statue of Liberty magnet and I know that it's possible to buy only in NY. Is it still available? Did someone buy it? Thanks
ciao a tutti, sto cercando la calamita della statua della libertà Lego. So che la puoi trovare solo a NY, non so se è ancora in vendita. Qualcuno di voi l'ha trovata recentemente? Grazie

There are a couple of small items that are NY exclusive. There is a statue of liberty minifigure magnet, and a small statue of liberty buildable model. There have been some small sets like an NY taxi but they weren’t available when I last visited in April 2019

Ask for price match because the prices on most sets are 20% over priced compared to all other Lego stores and Lego shop online.
