Once found in this huge impressive park this spot is a must for the movie followers and although it wasn't summer time it was still a great picturesque location and the step and pathway leading here are wide and tree lined

Central Park as a whole is a favourite any time of year, and so is the Fountain. You'll recognize it from many films and series, and I find it especially beautiful with snow. There's always a bustle going on near the Fountain

Enjoyed the views of the fountain from the top of the steps. The angel on top is beautiful and the water in the back pretty nice.

The fountain is a great stop to take a break while exploring Central Park. You can relax and take in this great edifice. A great place to stop for a snack or just people watch.

Central park is the most bigger park in nyc. If you visit the park you should stay a minute in this fountain and appreciate the view of nyc.

Cool gem in the middle of central park, it is actually pretty big. The fountain makes for a great spot to grab some awesome photos.

Here it seems the center of Central Park, find street artists, many people, the beautiful Bethesda fountain with its cupids all around. Do not forget, go up to the terrace and go under the terrace, where you can take beautiful pictures.

even when you might have seen it dozens of times in movies and tv series, it is still worth a visit. I also enjoy the lady playing the harp and an old bluesman who happen to be around quite often.

So lovely. Even though there are people everywhere it is somehow peaceful. Walk down the steps and really check out the ceilings they are divine. Take a camera, you'll be sorry if you don't!

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind... literally. It's the weather, not an arbitrary date which determines the fountain's functioning. It's been turned off in warm weather too, if there's a drought, and times when... More

On weekdays -- yes. but it is tricky, doable on weekdays only and probably a bad idea. Get out your map. On weekdays, not weekends, cars can enter the park until 6 or 7PM at 6th Avenue and Central Park So. (59th Street... More
