Had a great time at the Maritime Museum. Living in the Bronx for 6 years now I have always wanted to check this place out, but just never got around to it. I visited the museum on a weekend and it was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I took an express bus from Manhattan which left me off a short walk from the museum and the neighborhood through which I walked was largely residential with a few bars and nice views. This is a super maritime museum that contains pictures, boats, artifacts, etc. that represent the history of Fort Schuyler. You can even take the stairs and go to the rooftop to look out and see a great view of their local bridge and river!
