This place is great! Right in the hustle of Hell's Kitchen, Vinyl was able to still have a very welcoming atmosphere, although it is non stop movement. I got to sit outside (right behind sam champion -he controls the weather) great food and great drinks.. the waiter was friendly and attentive, and again, Michael Jackson( a picture )looks on while... Our daughter and her boyfriend treated us to dinner at Vinyl when we visited NYC. We all enjoyed it thoroughly. I had the Truffle Mac and Cheese which was outstanding. I don't remember what my husband and daughter had, but her boyfriend had a sandwich named for Elvis that was HUGE! My husband sampled it and loved it. Vinyl has... More

Very nice menu with lots of options. Nice day so the windows were open giving it an outdoor dining feel. Service was excellent as was the food.

Vinyl was the first restaurant I noticed while walking from the subway to the apartment a friend and I were renting for a week long stay in NYC. It was literally around the corner. We went there for a late night dinner and loved the place. I had their Pad Thai (not quite what you might get in Bangkok but... More

The turkey burgers were good but we waited forever to place our order and forever to get it. It's not that buys either.

Went there for lunch on my last NYC trip, and I am SO in love! I won't make a trip back without eating here! We had two different kinds of mac n cheese, which were both fabulous, and we had a Peanut butter sandwich with a tempura fried banana, and candied bacon. To die for! We also had a BLT... More

Our AIRBNB host recommended this place and it was truly great. Huge portions with a great mix of flavors. Much better than expected and wish we could have gone back.

Very cute little spot with great food! Love the concept and the decor. Service was quick and very friendly and attentive. With all of the many restaurants in NY, I'd definitely make it a point to go here again on my next visit. Fun note: The bathrooms are named "Michael" and "Beyonce" and when you go in, not only are... Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
