Very nice theater

Had read reviews that the seats are tight; I am an overweight person and thought the seats were comfortable enough. Strange pre-play lineup down 45th St. We were instructed to form a straight line down the sidewalk; a second line was next to ours for another theater, effectively clogging the sidewalk and blocking access to Schubert Alley! The bathrooms are... More

I saw the play significant other here Friday night. It's a great, intimate theater that's been completely refurbished. It's a great place to see a play, though the seats are tiny. I recommend trying to book the last seats in each row for more legroom.

We joined the line to get in to the 2pm matinee at 1.45 along with hundreds of others. (unclear why this is necessary, there were 4 lines for 4 different theaters and many were in the wrong line). The doors opened at 1.50, it obviously takes more than 10 minutes to perform adequate security on a 1,000 person theater. When... More

I love Broadway, and of all the shows I have been to; I have never been to the Booth. I love this theatre. The size is perfect. The theatre sits about 780. Every seat is great. The staff was friendly, and the location is in the center of the theatre district. Really nice place and a feel of history!!

The Donmar Warehouse production of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" is a standout theatre production with excellent performances by well known actors Liev Schreiber and Janet McTeer and an outstanding supporting cast including less well known actors such as Birgitte Hjort Sorensen. This small theatre is an ideal venue for this play and our seats near the center of the 5th row... More

THE THEATRE: Before the show I was barraged by messages indicating that "There will be no late seating during the first act. Please plan to arrive at the theatre before the curtain time on your ticket." However, that was not the case -- a horde of people arrived late and we were subjected to audible whispers from the back for... More

I'm a fan of Liev Schreiber and so enjoyed watching him act in this unique role. He was wonderful as was Janet McTeer. The first half is long and the show runs three hours. I thought it was interesting and my husband and son both viewed the ending differently. This theater is small and mezzanine seats offer great views better... More

With such superb acting, amazing staging, which included fantastic lighting using real candles in the chandeliers, this was a truly extraordinary show. Liev Schreiber, Janet Mc Teer and the entire cast left us spellbound. What a rare and delicious treat this was. It has a limited engagement but it shouldn't be missed.

Was at Saturday's matinee and could not have been more satisfied. Liev Schreiber was superb and the charm of the Booth theatre was the perfect setting for this play. The stage, the candle lit chandeliers the angelic singing while changing scenes, the wardrobe,Liev's striking voice, the astounding dialogues, his mannerisms were Tony award material. The fact that a his performance... More

Booth theatre has cramped seating but the views are good anywhere in the Orchestra. Liev Scheiber is one of my favorite actors but I felt he wasn't deceitful enough acting in this role of the Vicomte. Janet Mcteer was outstanding. It could have been shorter and the love scenes were disappointing and lacked passion. The promo photo has more sex... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
