This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Have always loved Meredith Vieira and seeing her show live makes you love her even more. The "What's Hot Now" panel is terrific, too, as are her staff. They make you feel at home. We went at Christmas time and got lots of swag. Just a great experience. Hoping to attend one more taping before it ends.

My boyfriend and I were just looking around in the N.B.C. store when a woman came up to us and asked if we wanted to be on the show. We had no definitive plans so we said why not..I actually said that and had to talk the boyfriend into it..haha. We only waited a short time and got seated way up front. It was a fun experience. What I would like to do visiting the city. Meredith was a very friendly and gracious host. She came out to the audience when the show was over and talked and took pictures with people. It's too bad her show is going off. She really is a nice down to earth celebrity! We really enjoyed our experience!

Being that it's December 7th and every show is giving out holiday gifts, I really expected to get gifts today. Unfortunately we didn't get anything. Every other talk show is giving things out starting today. The show itself was very nice, waiting inside the Peacock Lounge was great. I've been to other shows where you wait outside and it's not fun. Most of the staff was pretty nice. The people checking tickets by the staircase could be a little friendlier, everyone else was very nice.

The positives were definitely the initial interactions with staff and the registration/entry process. Even though there's a lot of waiting around, you're able to do it inside and in their comfortable lounge. And, of course, there's no charge for the tickets. Meredith did come into our side of the audience and was very gracious (greeting and hugging the people on the aisle seats). The warm up comedian was entertaining.
The not so positives - the show is taped so be prepared to spend a fair amount of time there. We went to a 2 pm taping. This required arriving by 12:30 and we were finished close to 4. The guests for our show weren't particularly entertaining, but that's a risk whenever you attend a show. The strangest thing was how you were seated. The staff person looks you over and then assigns you to a seating area. We couldn't figure out their rationale/approach, but it definitely felt a little strange.

I was so excited to be allocated a ticket to be in the audience for the show! The check in process was easy (and indoors!) and the seating in the Peacock Lounge is comfortable. No photography is allowed in this area, but it is just nice to take it all in.
You wait around 45 minutes to go into the studio, but staff come onto the mic to keep you engaged.
Once inside the studio, you are seated and wait for action! I was lucky and got seated near the front so had a great view. There is a warm up comedian that helps pass the time until the show starts.
It is a really cool experience and would make a trip to NYC very memorable, even if you haven't seen the show. It was great to see celebrity guests as well as Meredith and the panel.

My sister and I attended a taping of the show in February. We had a great time! Meredith is funny and friendly. All the staff was professional and courteous. We had also been to "The View" taping and enjoyed Meredith so much more. A great way to spend a few hours. Definitely recommend!

you arrive so early, stand in line to be right up front and then the staff look you up and down, judge and seat you accordingly. (even if there are manu empty seats up front) what you see live is the same on tv. The only great thing about the experience is the lady entertaining the crowd. she's awesome!! other than that, save your time to see New York.

The Meredith Vieira show was the best present I have given myself for a birthday ever. Tracy is amazing at her craft. She lightens up the crowd and makes it fun. Dance parties plus free candy who wouldn't mind that? The tickets are free and sometimes you might be able to meet a guest. I went twice and got to meet Donald Faison and this last time I got to meet Jesse from the biggest loser. Meredith is sweet and kind she had warmed up since the first season of her show.

I have been to many many talk show tapings! I must say that the Meredith team is by far -- outstanding. The check in process is easy and you are INSIDE! (NOT OUTSIDE LIKE CBS AND ABC SHOWS WHICH IS TORTUROUS!). You check in, get a wrist band, get a time to come back and re-line up for entrance. You are seated in a bright, comfortable studio.
The warm up person is not only entertaining and funny...but she tosses candy and gives out prizes! There is a celebration of audience birthdays, good news and dance offs and contests while you wait and in between commercial breaks.
Meredith ALWAYS interacts with her audience. She is thankful, asks questions, has taken photos, given hugs. She is extremely personable.
Going to a talk show and seeing a live show is a great thing to do. But if you are going to be totally ignored as an audience member, you could just sit and watch on the tv...(just my opinion).
Great extra...typically, she gives out an audience gift based on the guests she has.
If you're in town...this show is a must see for a real television taping experience!
Kudos to Meredith and her team!
