I walked in this morning and asked if I could have the 915 massage that I saw on their webpage earlier this morning. It was a WONDERFUL 90 min massage!!

Best massage I've gotten in a long time! The staff was very professional and friendly. Really relaxing and comforting environment. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend these guys

We visited Nuansa Spa on Wednesday 6th March as a couple. We were so lucky to be treated to the “side by side” massage by my wonderful godmother as a birthday treat.
We were visiting NYC from the UK and were told that Nuansa Spa was a must by her, and well....she was not wrong! As soon as you enter this spa you feel instantly relaxed. The atmosphere, surroundings, sounds, smells – everything. But most of all, Nuanchawee, the owner of Nuansa. She is a beautiful lady. So welcoming and such an amazing host. She greets you as you step out of the lift doors and settles you into the waiting area where you are given flip flops and a lovely gown to change into. You are then taken to the plush facilities to get changed and begin your spa experience.
At this point we locked our belongings up securely in the lockers provided and got comfortable in our gowns. We were then taken into the consultation room where we were offered drinks of our choice - all types of tea, or champagne if you’d prefer. There were also small eats and yummy chocolate truffles to nibble on as well.
After completing the consultation form we chose a massage oil each and were guided to our massage room together. We both chose the “firm” massage option and were asked if we had any particular areas we wished for our massage therapists to focus on. Both therapists were absolutely AMAZING. We couldn't fault them. It was truly the best massage experience we have ever had. So thorough, with amazing attention to detail on every area of the body. Both therapists checked on us regularly to ensure we were comfortable and happy with the pressure. It was just what needed after several hours on a plane - and of course a fantastic way to kick start our holiday!
Nuanchawee, I cannot thank you enough for making our visit to Nuansa so perfect and certainly one to remember. It really was a highlight during our time in NYC.
I cannot recommend Nuansa highly enough, so please, if you are visiting - go! You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful spa and staff
The spa is beautiful as soon as you walk in, you feel relaxed, but it is the service that surpasses all other spa experiences. In particular, Rei, the spa director was extremely accommodating, friendly and caring. Her attention to detail and making sure I had a wonderful spa experience did not go unnoticed. Thank you Rei and the rest of the team, I will definitely be back.

Great experience. The minute we got off the elevator staff greet us with our first names. From beginning to the end we loved it. Great full body massage and facial. Definitely be back!! Stronglu recommend

At first i wasn't sure about Nuansa because several other of my other go-to spas were at full capacity for the times i wanted. But now i am SO GLAD that Nuansa was available. Both my friend and i received excellent massages, but beyond that, the entire experience was perfectly relaxing.
We were greeted right off of the elevator by the owner, Ms. Nuanchawee, who took our shoes and umbrellas and led us to the locker rooms. Her energy was instantly calming, pleasant, loving, and accommodating - kinda like your favorite auntie. As other reviewers have experienced, we were encouraged to change into our robes and then led into the lounge to enjoy a tea of our choosing, as well as enter our details and preferences into an ipad. Water and champagne were also offered, but we elected to have those later. We then got to select the oil we wanted for our massage and both chose to mix the water and fire oils, with the resulting scent being really refreshing.
As i mentioned, the massages we got were great. My friend opted for the Deeper Care and i booked the Swedish Flow. i am now the most relaxed i've been in ages. Back in the lounge and enjoying our champagne, we were able to remain in our calm reverie and chat for as long as we wanted.
It was overall a really nice experience. i've done ultra-high-end spa experiences with baths, pools, and saunas, but Nuansa rivals all of them with a simple relaxing formula. i plan to be back soon to try their facials.
*Tip: The building is very unassuming and is in a very busy area. However, remember to leave all that hubbub behind you. As soon as you get off the elevator, you'll be in an oasis of calm.

From the moment you enter the elevator, a kind of peacefulness washes over you on your way up to the spa and you anticipate that relaxation is about to take place. When the elevators doors open into the spa area, you are not disappointed.
It's crazy how an entire city like NY can disappear, but that is exactly what you feel when you enter the space that is Nuansa Spa. It's so quiet and, for some of us, just sitting in the reception area on the circular couches would be a therapeutic experience worthy of an hour of our time.
The staff immediately welcomed me into their spa and provided me with slippers to begin my journey into relaxation...or in this case, my 90 minute massage. Plushy bath robes and lockers are provided in the well-equipped lavatory just a few paces down the softly lit corridor and I was escorted into a lovely lounging area while I prepared for my treatment.
The hostess offered me a selection of teas and infused water in addition to the dried fruits, nuts and chocolate that were already made available on a small serving cart should I have had a hankering for a light snack before or after my experience.
My masseuse was skilled and very thorough on the areas that I specified for treatment and she made sure to ask only a sparing amount of questions regarding my desired goal for our session and degree of pressure. The atmosphere and the comforting warmth of the friendly staff made this a wonderful experience and despite the fact that I soon returned to the hustle and flow of the city during the holidays - I was happy to find the "peace and joy" of the season after my visit to Nuansa Spa.

And I’ve had quite a few. This was by far the best I’ve ever had. Wish I lived in NYC so I could visit every week. Was mentally calculating in my head what I would have to give up to afford 30 minutes of this every day of my life...and I’m pretty sure whatever it took it would be worth it!

I went with my 22 year old daughter for a holiday celebration. I typically go to the higher end spas like the Peninsula and the Mandarin. This massage was as good if not better. The women that work there couldn’t do enough for us. It was really lovely. They got to all of my aches and tightness. I can’t recommend this place enough. We had facials as well. The facials come with a foot massage and neck and shoulder work/massage. You can’t go wrong here!
