We drove a short distance from Downtown Little Rock, and parked at the base of Big Dam Bridge, where there was free parking. A 5 minute walk and you are on the bridge, where you can see fantastic views of the hills and river. Oh...More

Great for someone looking for a change of scenery to run or walk. I think there were more interesting bridges throughout Little Rock than this particular one, but if nothing else to do and but visit local landmark, then this would be good.

What a beautiful place to walk across the Arkansas River, it's a large pedestrian bridge! Some wooded areas, bikers welcome. Dogs must be leashed and picked up after. Bathroom facilities are available.

Great for walking, this park/bridge is a great place to walk see people, see the Arkansas River and get some exercise all at once.

One of the longest pedestrian/bicycle bridges in the country. Scenic views (if you can look past busy I-430) over the Arkansas River. Great place to watch barges go through the locks. Watch out for speeding bicycles!

Great fun for a walk with family or friends. Fun to watch the locks open for ships. The river is lovely

Yes, in Arkansas this would be a big dam. Yes, it incorporates a bridge. We assume that it does its job well. Why is it an attraction?

I saw a sign the other day when i was there that said they close it at 12 midnight. No idea what time they open back up the next morning.
