The Arkansas River Bicycle Trail System is roughly 100 miles of bike paths stretching from downtown Little Rock in the River Market all the way out to Pinnacle Mountain. The bike trail begins in the Little Rock River Market and extends on both sides of the Arkansas River, crossing three pedestrian only bike bridges, including the magnificent Clinton Presidential Bike Bridge in the easternmost River Market district, Two Rivers Park bridge on the westernmost portion of the trail, and the World-Famous Big Dam Bridge which is the world's largest ped-only bike bridge spanning over the entire Arkansas River Dam. Bring your bike and enjoy both sides of the Arkansas River as you ride from downtown Little Rock through scenic Burns Park over the Big Dam Bridge and Two Rivers Park bridges extending all the way out to Pinnacle Mountain (Arkansas' most popular state park). Bike Rentals are provided in the downtown Little Rock River Market.Whether you walk, skate, or prefer to bicycle the miles of Riverfront beauty, you won't be disappointed. The entire Arkansas River Bike Trail system is paved and no motorized vehicles are allowed (including cars, trucks, and segways).

The arkansas river trail meanders along the beautiful Arkansas river and through burns park, where kids can play, have a picnic lunch, or even bring your rod and reel and do some fishing. Spend the whole day discovering along this well maintained paved path.

This was a great place for a walk, run or bike. They do request that cyclists start about a mile east of the "big dam bridge" at Murray lot instead of nearer the bridge. From the dam bridge to Kiplinger headed west & back it was about a 14+ mile loop (out & back) with some interesting environs including some... More

I run different parts of this trail nearly every Saturday. Lots of variety. People walk, run, bike and some just enjoy the views.

Obviously a lot of planning went into this linear park. I spent about an hour just strolling it, watching families enjoy the water features, having picnics, playing, etc.

I love the River Trail! For the most part, I don't have to worry about dodging traffic, and I get to enjoy the riverside scenery.

This can be fun for the whole family. It is a good distance from end to end, but you can walk just a part of it if you would like.

The trail is well laid out and beautiful with four pedestrian bridges along it. The bridges downtown are lighted at night. The lights along the river at are great. Very nice!

Pretty views of the River. Passes through town as well as the Clinton Library. You can extend up to the Big Dam Bridge. A very bike friendly town

Little Rock has developed a circular biking trail from the Clinton Library to a point about 10 miles up river to the BIg Dam Bridge. There is also a connecting bridge to a northerly route on the south side of the River. If you are a biker and what to experience the beauty of this river and the best of... More
