Tramway has been closed for months and is not expected to open anytime soon. City council is working on ways to repair/maintenance the cars. Story goes that system was out if date and was becoming a risk to leave it open to the public. Sorry...More

Take scenic drive (by car) and park at the overlook to enjoy beautiful panoramic views of El Paso and into Mexico. You won’t miss a thing despite the tramway’s closure.

This is by far the best place to see two country's and 3 states. Highly recommend when in El Paso. This is a state park, the tram will take you to the observation tower.

The system was shut down last year and is waiting for a funding decision from the legislature. Hopefully funding will be secured and the rating will return to a resounding 5

I tried to go in December only to find out it is now CLOSED! The older tramway provided an additional amount of fun and excitement. The Wyler Tram had been around for a long time. So SAD!

We went here as a family.; my husband, our daughter and I. It was pretty fun riding it, a little scary but fun. The views at the top were awesome. I think everyone should experience it at least once.

it's unfortunate that our visitors will not be able to enjoy the tallest tramway in Texas anymore. The Texas Parks Department has closed it because of "unsafe" conditions. There is no plans to reopen any time soon. Sorry folks.
