Unfortunately, the tramway was not operating during my visit to El Paso; it's only open Friday through Sunday. I've taken the tram before and the views are spectacular during the ride and at the top. Only $8/person for a round-trip ride.

Great experience, especially for kids if you've never ridden a tram. Quick trip to the top where you can see Texas, New Mexico and Mexico.

You can't beat the views from the top of the mountain. It is $8.00 well spent. From the top you can see El Paso, Juarez and Las Cruces. Make sure you take your camera and get there early, the lines tend to get long later...More

Nice staff, beautiful views but the schedule is not very customer friendly. Easier access to hiking trails from the top would be plus.

I was not too excited to visit El Paso...until I arrived. The city is welcoming and picturesque, and this is best illustrated by a trip up the tramway. You get fantastic views of Mexico, New Mexico, and Texas. The mountain is cooler than the valley...More

Noon to 7pm Friday and Saturday; ; 10am to 5pm Sundays. If it is windy, you cannot ride the tram to the top. Also, the gift shop is not always open...

There is plenty of parking and it's a short walk to the ticket booth. There is also a trail that runs up the mountain from the parking lot if you are feeling ambitious.

Pretty busy on a holiday weekend, but no problem on a regular, non-holiday weekend. But best to go early anytime.
