Tramway has been closed for months and is not expected to open anytime soon. City council is working on ways to repair/maintenance the cars. Story goes that system was out if date and was becoming a risk to leave it open to the public. Sorry...More

it's unfortunate that our visitors will not be able to enjoy the tallest tramway in Texas anymore. The Texas Parks Department has closed it because of "unsafe" conditions.
There is no plans to reopen any time soon. Sorry folks.
