This is our 4th year in a row at Lake Casitas - Creekside camping site. We just have a great fun time, and going to the lazy river in the evening is always a blast for the kid's.

This was my 4th camping experience at Lake Casitas. The previous 3 were average, but the 4th one was a much better experience. Improvements from previous ones: 1) The restrooms were cleaner and it looks like they are now taking the trouble to clean up...More

Beautiful place I'd visited as a child, came back as an adult. Due to the very low water levels, not much going on..concessions closed etc. Hopefully it will rain soon in California!

So. If you want a quiet time, do not go here. Prices are exhortbitant. Prices ridiculous. Children atrocious. Absurd expenditure of money.

Although we found the area quite beautiful and discovered a eucalyptus grove filled with herons nests and new spring babies, the drought has taken a huge toll....boat ramps lead down to rocky river beds filled with spring flowers and greenery. The former lake lines are...More

With the winter rains it was still green and beautiful at the lake. Trees, mustard plants and trees in bloom all over. Lake is still very low. There is a nest of Eagles to check out. Camp sites are close together so pray for quiet...More

I really don't know but you've piqued my interest. I'm going to find out.
Do you need to camp in lake casitas in order to go in the pool playground?

Response from Jerry M | Reviewed this property |
No, you can go to the water park or walk-in for free... They have a charge for the water park, all is at the front entrance.
