Under construction. Made it difficult to walk about

The village is undergoing major construction work. Many detours. Probably preparing for summer but uncomfortable right now

There are fun shops and a good selection of restaurants. It's lovely to walk around and enjoy looking at the boats docked at the harbor. Because improvements are being made, several paths were closed and it was necessary to take long detours to get around.

First visit and went to The Greek for waterfront lunch. Walked around after doing some shopping and enjoying a flavored coffee. The Carousel is great for the kids, too noisy for me. Great assortment of shops with great sales including a dive shop. Prices were decent at most stores...some art was a little pricey at galleries. Great place for beautiful... More

Pleasant outdoor venue with views of the ocean, surf, mountains, boats and plenty of people watching. Visit an array of small shops which attract adults and children alike. Enjoy an ice cream cone while strolling around the harbor or stay for a delicious dinner at one of the several good restaurants on site. My favorite is Brophy's Fish House but... More

Fun to look at the Harbor they have the tall ships there now. I had lunch at Andria's Seafood restaurant and a great cup of coffee at the coffee shop. They have a lot of shops with souvenirs etc. There is a shop that only sells hats.

Ventura Harbor Village has numerous shops and restaurants and weekend activities for all ages. Great place to walk and people watch with views and access to the Ventura Marina, kayaking, paddle boards, sport's fishing, dive boats, Visitor's Center and of course, the beach.

We returned to the Harbor for a second time and had a great time. Lots of great views, a handy family friendly beach and some really fun stores. Lots of good places to eat as well

So if your in the mood for great seafood, Andrea's is the place to be. Voted county best some stupid number of years in a row. Lots of specialized shops to checkout also.

A few quaint little shops to browse. A carousel and arcade area with homemade fudge and treats. A nice place to relax. Free trolley got us there.

Nice place to visit with shops, restaurants, and things to do and see. But because there are so many commercial fishing boats docked here, the smell of rotting fish fragments can be very annoying. It would behoove the Dock-Master to enforce cleanliness of these boats to eliminate these bothersome odors. It would encourage more repeat retail and sightseeing business.
