Strong fishy smell in the harbor. Found one good place to eat. Andreas sea food. had the halibut and chips.

The village went under a complete overhaul a painting a couple of years back and for some unknown reason this perfect little commercial/private village got painted in browns and oranges from the original Mexican to Tuscany! Go figure! That fortunately did not change the shops...More

We had Clam Chowder, strolled on the embarcadero and took a harbor tour in the little Taxi that could. Fun times!

Ventura Harbor Village has a nice selection of restaurants and shops. The best part is walking next to the harbor looking at the boats while taking in the relaxing atmoshpere.

The harbor is a real working harbor - squid boats unloading and all. But there are also fun restaurants and shops, great atmosphere.
