I liked going to Ventura Harbor Village. There are a variety of stores and cafes. The place is scenic. The boats in the harbor are fun to see as well.

You will need at least a 1/2 day here as there are lots of good restaurants and shops to check out. Start out with eating lunch then do some shopping and take in a few of the attractions there, hit the beach and check out the boats and then do dinner.

Lots of parking and lots of food choices. Le Petit Cafe is nice place for lunch. The Greek for dinner with entertainment. Andreas for fish. Brophys for happy hour or great nicer meal. The Comedy Club is a go too. Just strolling along looking at boats and shops with ice cream from Coastal Cone, like I did.

We have enjoyed this beautiful Ventura attraction since it opened many years ago. Lots of shops, restaurants, and plenty of sights to see. The weather is almost always pleasant and the calm marina is home to all sorts of ocean vessels and activities. You can take a tour boat to the channel islands, rent a kayak or paddleboard or watch... More

The harbor Village offers plenty of free parking and is located next to the marina and across the beach. There are many restaurants and shops to explore as well as kayak rentals for the more adventurous visitor. Grassy areas provide a nice place for kids to play and run. The Village is also the starting point for many channel island... More

You can take a boat ride, go diving off the Channel Islands, visit the museum, eat great food, listen to live music (free on weekends), always something happening here throughout the year.

We stopped at the Ventura Harbor Village on a Friday afternoon to have some lunch and enjoy the cool while looking at the boats in the harbor. The whole Village was almost deserted and we only saw two boats move in the hour we were eating. We did not have to wait in line to order lunch or in any... More

The Harbor has the mix of the best of Piers and Harbors I’ve been to in California. Lots of little shops, an arcade, places for coffee. It’s not a large area, and on the weekends, parking can be a challenge as it is just next to the beach. The fishing boats rest right at the harbor so the fresh seafood... More
