Great place to look at all the nice boats. Lots of neat little gift shops and plenty of restaurants to choose from. They have boat rentals, kayak rentals, harbor cruises. Lots to do for the whole family.
This is our go to place for an uncrowded beach get away. The Village is small & well maintained with lots of dining choices as well as an arcade & some shops. The ice cream shop has Dole Whip, usually only found at Disneyland.

We went there after dinner from a local fish house. kinda tourist oriented, but found a great hat shop and some other things. not their issue, there late on a weekday evening. probably neat during normal hours. clean, restrooms, lots of different shops.

I hope you were able to make it to the little village and that you enjoyed the views. I found it to be a quaint little seaport village and the food at the little seafood café we stopped at was really good. I found I really enjoyed Ventura, I hope you did too
