You pay to park by the pier but any restaurant can validate the parking. We didn't walk on the beach but noticed playground equipment which is nice.

The pier is quite pleasant and fun to watch the people fishing. The promenade along the water is quite extensive.

It's a great place to walk, many shops and restaurants. The Pier is fun-and you can watch the fishermen and the surfers.
