Walked by the Buenaventura City Hall over a weekend. It was closed as it was Saturday evening. The building itself is a great side to see. Very picturesque building. Love the feel of a small town so close to the craziness of Los Angeles.

I love to go and stroll through the hallways looking at our City Hall's artwork. It's very inspiring and a lovely relaxing thing to do from time to time.

We happened in to City Hall just because, and found some wonderful art in the second story hallway. Unexpected - a nice surprise! And don't miss the botanical trail behind the parking lot, it's an easy climb with amazing vistas.

One of the most beautiful buildings of Ventura. Father Serra's statue is standing in front of the building looking down California Street.

A grand edifice in a classical style, it overlooks a boulevard that descends down to the ocean. A statue of Junipero Serra stands in front. Try to see the paintings just inside the front door.

There is an information center inside. The walls and floors are gorgeous nice art all through the halls. Look at the outside of the building for faces in the architectural structures . The views from the building are pretty.

The Ventura City Hall is often overlooked when passing through Ventura. Visitors rarely get off main street and many never even get past the hotels on or near the water. It is well worth the quick walk up Californa Street to Poli. The columns show...More

No. It is only open during normal weekday business hours, as it is the official City Hall.
