The Cultural Center is a compound of various buildings that bring together the past and present of the Chickasaw Nation's history, art, and their Native American heritage. Try the food at the Cafe. I ate a Chickasaw Taco. It was made on Fry Bread...awesome. They also served Bison Burgers and they were tasty too. The had a small gift shop... More

We went to the fall festival on Saturday the 15th. Was Awesome, had lots of food to try out that had been smoked over the campfires. Things for the kids to do, had a pumpkin patch and face painting. This is a great place to visit even if there is nothing special going on. Has a very fine restaurant and... More

The Chickasaw Nation is doing an excellent job of sharing their story. Their target audience seems to be both members of their own nation and the rest of the world. Their story includes both the past and the present. The Center is impressive. The Chickasaw Nation is interpreting their nation's heritage on all fronts. Geographically- we saw a large bridge... We were here during the annual Chickasaw Festival so we were treated to cultural displays and had a chance to interact with the dancers and artisans. I can recommend this center without reservations to anyone who is interested in Native American history and culture.

we visited on a big football game weekend, so not alot of activities. good museum and outside grounds are free to roam. Good recreated village and history. I recommend paying for the museum. Check their website for festivals and special occasion cwlebrations, more enjoyable then.

I learned a lot about the Chickasaw history & found their exhibits & presentation of their history to be interesting. The group we were in, both men & women, found the Chickasaw Cultural Center to be very interesting. Would recommend that you stop by for a vist.

It was an eye-opening experience for my daughter to see how Chickasaw lived. She got to participate in a stomp dance. She also really enjoyed the secret forest walkthrough. It's really a great family experience.
