Great party! Exceptional wines! Delightful hosts, Rhona and Mark, who greeted all the guests. Tapas plates were served for a modest price. Origen wine was our choice of the day and took a couple of bottles home, as well as a case of Cabernet Sauvignon. Art exhibit by local artist, Yolanda Van der Lelij displayed many local views. We enjoyed... More

Had a wonderful tasting experience at this small, family production vineyard. The location is a bit remote, but once you arrive- you'll be happy you made the trip! Wines that rival some of the best in Napa/Sonoma and could hold their own, anywhere in the world. Many from locally sourced and grown grapes. Rhona was very friendly & Tilly the... More

My partner and I stopped into Zarpara on Saturday, which happened to be the first day of Sav. Blanc harvest. The owners were kind enough to take us back and show us crushing process and let us sample the grapes from the vine. Rhona was charming and very knowledgeable. Their summer special ($99 a case!!) was quite a deal. Muchas... More

First stop we made in our AZ wine tasting adventure on Memorial Day weekend. Got a warm welcome from the dog who was sleeping under a car; she escorted us to the door and then went back to her nap. The owner is a really nice lady originally from Scotland (I believe her name is Rona) and she served us... More

Good atmosphere and a nice selection of unique wines. A good time with nice music too. Tasting was 5 pours for 10 bucks, and you get to keep the glass.

Zarpara is located about 20 minutes outside of Wilcox. It would be easy to stick with the downtown wineries, but that would be a mistake. Zarpara has a broad selection of wines priced mostly in the $20-30 range. Reds are particularly well represented. They occasionally have a barrel-tasting party. It's well worth the cost--fun and educational. Very friendly, family operation.

Worth the drive to the tasting room. There are other wineries nearby. Love the wine and the views. Can't wait to get back.

My wife and I came to this winery due to a Groupon and overall we're really glad we did. The winery is located about 15 miles south of Willcox and fortunately we had our map app since they could use a lot more signage to direct people to the winery. This is one of 3 tasting rooms that is actually... More
