This is an interstate rest area on the Northbound lane of I-95 after you cross the state line from Florida. When up and running, it is a good stop. Lots of information on Georgia and clean restrooms. we went to st marys ga so we could go to Cumberland island. we stopped at visitor center and they were very helpful about where to eat at night. info about Cumberland island was very helpful too.

We make a habit of stopping by the visitors center as we enter a new state. Many have racks of business brochures and leave you on your own. Georgia provided real people that were friendly, knew much about the state and the cities and attractions. We got lucky as the lady that greeted us knew a lot of the history.... More

We received a paper local map of just the downtown area. We are not familiar with the area so I asked for a map of the area beyond downtown. Best friend and I visited on our "birthday" celebration trip and thoroughly enjoyed this venue! Curator was most friendly and informative and we are so glad we stopped in!

The Visitor Information Center give you all that you need to see everything in St. Mary GA. It also, has the Telephone Museum.

Very picturesque, port to catch boat to Cumberland Island. Got cute places to eat, nice antique shop on square.
