The visitor center is the center of the complex. An informative movie, museum and exhibits are all included The shop building was not open when we visited, however you could view the interior thru the windows.

I was very taken by the Wright Cycle complex. It did give a good history if the Wright Brothers early days as well as their trials in the development of their airplane. Great complex and fun to visit.

The National Park Service has done a great job with this Wright Brothers museum. It's a very nice facility with excellent displays and a ton of stuff to read. What's interesting is that the few interactive displays actually work, unlike what you encounter in a...More

Great visitors center, friendly rangers, tons of stuff to check out. They gave us maps to other historical sites in the area, which gave us plenty to do in Dayton for the next couple days!

Great information about the Wright Brothers and the only one of their cycle shops still in its original location. Parachute Museum also at this location.

The bike shop was not very exciting. However, the larger center had much more to see and explore. I'm usually not a fan of movies in museums, but this one was worth it. The "hidden" parachute museum on the second floor was small but quite...More

Mick, Didn't stay near there but the Wright Cycle Co. is part of the Interpretive Centre and entry is free but donations to the NPS are kindly accepted ! Easy way to spend a great hour or so ! Enjoy, Skeney.
