It's scuba season! Dutch looks great. The water level is up nicely. The water is chilly of course...around 42 degrees. Visibility isn't great. This was our first time diving in April so we thought it would be better. It's around 25 feet. Little more in some spots...little less in others. As usual it's clean and the staff is friendly and... It was before the aqua park, so I can't speak about that, but when I became certified to dive & a couple of years later went for a "brush up" session, this was the place. There are very few places to dive under somewhat controlled conditions. When I was there, the license plates in the parking lot were from all... More

This place was super fun when I went with my boyfriend last summer! We weren't sure what to expect but we had a blast, although we though it was a little pricey, it was a really cool place. The water is awesome that it goes down so deep and just drops off. We only did the inflatables but I would... More

Dutch Springs is a quarry outside of Bethlehem, PA that has been turned into both a SCUBA diving "resort" and an aqua park. When we went, we had a couple of non-scuba divers with us who used the aqua park while we were having fun diving. The quarry itself has various platforms from which divers can practice skills and there... More

My dive shop BWD host a pig roast event at Dutch Springs this past summer and I did two dives with a guide and dive master Susanne was the best and the pig they cooked was good to eat and this was a lot of fun that day and it was hot outside that day. If you are looking to... More

This is a 76 acre water park that is well designed for scuba diving as well as a waterpark for families who don't dive. There are a lot of attractions underwater as well as several platforms for people to do their training on instead of on the bottom in the muck. If you can go during the week you will... More

Spent the first weekend in December doing open water SCUBA training at Dutch Springs. The former limestone quarry is very accessible to I-78, just north of Bethlehem. The facility is open select weekends this time of the year for diver training or special events. It is truly a divers playground with multiple submerged vehicles (plane, fire truck, boat, school bus,... More

I first visited in the Fall of 1996 and did do regularly until the Summer of 1998. Having returned to the East coast I have witnessed a great transformation. The addition of changing and shower facilities, greatly improved water access and additions underwater too. Where else can you dive an old Navy helicopter or business jet both suspended in mid... This place is great on a hot humid day. Pack up the car and take the kids tire them out for the day! I took my nephew here who was visiting along with his cousins and he had a blast! On dry land they have the challenge where you navigate your way across ropes and beams, a climbing wall. Then... More
