First 2 of 6 miles is steady up then 4 miles of gentle up with a short downhill to Deer Lakes. No need to hike all the way to Deer Lakes. After that first 2 miles you are on a ridge top and that's good...More

We took the gondola up and then hiked down the 7 mile trail. There were fantastic views the entire time. Make sure you bring plenty of water and sunscreen with you.

This is a steep difficult trail. Undertake this trail knowing your limitations. Pack lunch, water, sunscreen, and get ready for a workout. Some of the best Easten Sierra scenery.
