Worth the long drive and do both parts of it! Went in early April so could just drive to the fossil display as not crowded enough for the shuttle. We spent all day at both sections of the park. Since it is in such a remote area, highly recommend you take the time and use a full day to see... More

The time before my land. An amazing tour on what it was. There is not word to describe the emotional experience. Great place for friend and family. There were a lot of people walking around with their pets. We came on easter weekend and weather was perfect. Toilets were clean.. if you visit do not forget to bring plenty of... More

We were here about 16 years ago, and enjoyed it very much then, so much in fact that we brought our teenagers back here over spring break. The quarry is phenomenal, I don't even know how many dinosaur bones they have unearthed on the quarry wall, but it's flat out amazing. They also have some great displays, and allow you... More

This place is a touchstone with the far distant past. It isn't on the way to anything - I guess no one told the dinosaurs where to be for maximum tourist convenience. But, one you get here it is a treat. They have done an amazing job here. The visitor center is very helpful with many educational displays, a film... More

We had a free personal tour by a ranger to see and touch the dinosaur bones, wisely protected in a secure building, which was an awesome experience. Would have liked to see the rest of the national park, but it was impassable in winter. We stayed in Vernal where there was a ridiculous pink dinosaur model - this is the... More

A family trip of 6 national parks an a total of 5802 miles and this was one of he best day and night we had. Out there where the stars are so bright and the town is so cute. The national part was so cool.

An interesting and amazing display of fossilized dinosaurs. Great presentations and hands on items to explore. We took the drive to see the petroglyphs. That was a bonus. Great for all ages. The scenery is beautiful!

Just 30 minutes out of Vernal Ut, Dinosaur National Monument is a great family destination. Get up close and personal with a huge wall of dinosaur fossils at the quarry and the n afterwards explore the green river and petroglyphs left by ancient civilizations. They have really cool lizard petroglyphs that I have never seen anywhere else. There are great... More

If you are in to dinosaurs, fossils and evolution, this is a real must see. As with all American Parks and Monuments, the organisation is second to none. Slick transport fro Visitor centre to the Quarry, or you can walk if its not too hot. The Quarry face is spectacular, takes a few minutes to get your head around what... More
