One of the finest areas of American history preservation in the United States. Every American should absolutely visit Independence Hall to experience the story behind the birth of the worlds greatest country.

This was a wonderful place to visit. I was really moved by the history! It was a perfect weather day in Philadelphia in February! Go see this and take your time to reflect on our rich history!

The rangers here are so wonderful, and the site is so beautifully kept. It’s absolutely one of the best historic sites in Philadelphia. Unless you’re going during the January/February slow season, you’ll need to book online and pick up your tickets at the tourist center...More

Its free. We went about 10am & got in very quick. I noticed later in the day the line was very long. I had no idea all the things the liberty bell represented. There are pictures & recorded commentaries. The building is small. You can...More

Did you know that the Declaration of Independence was signed in August 2, 1776? I was reminded of this fact when I went to see one of the original printed copies of the Declaration of Independence. I didn't realize that the signed version on display...More

Our Park Ranger was fantastic. She put such memorable entertaining effort on her knowledge sharing. I highly recommend visiting as adult, you glean so much more and appreciate our American struggle. The only complaint was the length of time waiting in line .. Over 45...More

Independence Hall is so iconic and beautiful. The tour was interesting but short. It was really cool to see the Liberty bell, the Declaration, the courtrooms and the Square. A must do in Philadelphia and it is very convenient if you are staying in the...More

I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and visited all the historical sites when you could walk right in without security and a fancy visitors center. I wanted to see this site again because sometimes you just don't appreciate what's in your own backyard. Despite...More

Its a long walk. Subway or Uber is a better option. Parking near the Terminal Market is tight. At Terminal Market try the Bassetts Ice Cream-oldest ice cream stand in America and its really good.
