Only got to look at the view outside. I was visiting Memorial Weekend & the original plans were Saturday visit. I ran out of time Saturday & they are closed Sundays. So when I was walking around City Hall, I took photos of the outside....More

Fabulous building. The colour looks like wet sand. Interesting just how many men of history were masons. This is beside city hall so do pop over for a look. Can’t go inside unfortunately. At least we couldnt see how to.

Not a particularly happy looking building. Personally found it.a bit disturbing. Did not go inside and not sure if you can.

The architecture of this building is off the chain. Every angle, every dimension, every direction corresponds with a Masonic meaning. The attention to detail of the most mundane items is awe inspiring. You must see this building! Take the tour!

Marvelous Building not only the 7 magnificent halls but the incredible Cast Iron Stair Way. My favor was the Egyptian one. However I still prefer the great engineering piece of the cast iron stairs. The way is impossibly supported it is just astounding.

I took a tour based on the temple's historical as well as architectural significance. It was interesting, for the most part, but our guide was more intent on dispelling public myths rather than explaining Freemasonry. The tour was nonetheless interesting. I particularly liked the fact...More

There are a lot of stairs in the building but I would imagine they have elevators or lifts of some kind in the building. They still hold meetings here and a lot of the gentlemen are elderly

It is very difficult to find a free parking in this area. Paid parking garages are available throughout the center parts of Philadelphia though.
