Throughout this wonderful urban park are a series of statues placed in the early part of hte 20th C to beautify this park. The park is clearly loved to death by those that live around it, but you should come just to sit on a...More

This is a beautiful green space in the heart of Philly that was originally designed by William Penn. It's a very active park with plenty of benches; however, there are also a lot of homeless people. If you are looking for a good place to...More

This is a small park area in the middle of the Rittenhouse District of Philadelphia. When we strolled through, it was lush with greenery, and fairly calm and quiet. It appears to be an oasis in the middle of the bustling desert of the city!

I walk in the park each day on my lunch break. It's a leafy refuge. There are usually children and dogs enjoying a little fresh air and sometime street arts. It's too bad about a third of the benches are sadly full of the homeless.

I have stayed at the Sofitel several times and have been satisfied. This does not overlook the square, but is a short walk.

I would recommend Devon Seafood and Grill. It has the best fish dishes in the Philadelphia area. Charming atmosphere.
