Be sure to spend the few extra dollars for the guided tour. Bob was a terrific guide and source of information about the Church and the cemetery. Even as locals, we learned several things about the history of early Philadelphia and its inhabitants.

I took this tour which had a slant towards Ben Franklin who is buried here, but still learned a lot of interesting things about other signers of the Declaration of Independence and private citizens who had a role in Philadelphia history. Our guide Bob was...More

This is a fascinating place if you just stroll through and read the restored and plaqued epitaphs, but our guide Bob was full of knowledge, humor, and genuine interest in our interest in visiting! He had plenty of historical tidbits about the folks who chose...More

Well worth the couple bucks to get in, and honestly, pay the few extra for a guided tour! Bob was amazing, super entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed. Bring a penny or two, you’ll want to make a wish on Ben Franklin’s grave...More

I have been inside the cemetery before so this year, I visited Ben Franklin from outside the fence surrounding the cemetery -- to pay my respects. Just walking around this historic area where our Founding Fathers lived and worked, was pretty neat (especially in light...More

Although Benjamin Franklin'so grave is clearly visible from the street it is still worth paying the nominal fee for a quiet stroll through this historic graveyard. Apart from Benjamin Franklin and other signees of the Declaration of Independence there are other interesting graves to discover....More

Came here to see Ben Franklin's grave, which you can see through the fence, but paid the $3 to go inside and walk around. I'm from the west coast, where we have fewer of these really old cemeteries, so it was interesting to see graves...More

Quiet corner in the midst of activity outside the fence. The gravestones are very weathered but it is nice to see that the cemetery has been maintained as part of our heritage. We had no guide; just walked around and it takes less than 15...More

$2-3 to get in. Ben Franklin’s grave is nice to see but is visible through the fence, so.... Many of the other graves are very weathered and difficult to read. Small signs identify the most important burial sites. For the entry fee, I would have...More
